Truly an Excellent, Professional Label
The whole host of Naturmacht's bands as well as the people behind the music and label are wholly commendable - the amount of heart these folks pour into their art is palpable, practically dripping out of the CD sleeves and blaring from the speakers just as dew and birdsongs do from mighty forest canopies. Every album is a unique journey and sitting down to listen to a Naturmacht release always evokes a special feeling, whether the music takes the listener on fantastic adventures or helps one recognize the immense beauty of their natural surroundings.
There are many "hidden gems" in this label's roster (alongside the rightly-popular artists/albums) and every time I've taken a chance on a hitherto-unknown artist I've been amazed at the threads of continuity, quality, and epic concept running through all these albums. No two projects are alike and the variety among bands and their styles is outstanding, yet all share the general cohesion and professionalism synonymous with Naturmacht. In fact I highly recommend "taking chances" on the discounted/sale items as the entire roster is at least compelling if not downright legendary. Many CDs I've bought on a whim have turned into beautiful adventures listening to the albums and exploring new bands while also enjoying the label's mainstay artists. To top it off, the quality of the sound, layouts, and merch is beautiful - tapes and LPs are consistently well-done, CDs are given the gorgeous treatment they deserve, and the packing/shipping is reliable also. Robert, his employees, and their friends at the pressing plant all do such a sincere and professional job - truly nice people worthy of all the praise they receive. Hail this worthy collective of musicians and their beautiful tributes to Mother Nature. Long live Naturmacht!
