Good Jalousies!
Product: Roller shutters to be mounted outside of windows
Very good help during the pre-order process to ensure that measurements were correctly taken by us. Delivery as promised although time between order and delivery was fairly long (this was not a problem for us). The jalousies were fairly easy to mount but it is recommended not to be in a hurry in order for everything be correct in the end.
A few things we learned:
- Drill the hole for the wire used to raise the shutter at an angle in order to prevent any water that may find its way to the hole to go further (and perhaps even enter the house).
- Wax the shutters using car-wax to make cleaning easier.
- Attach expanding sealing tape on the backside of the shutter box above the window (upper and sides) to prevent rain from entering behind the shutter. Also prevents scratches on the shutter box when mounted on brick.
One star deducted for minor issues with the build quality of the shutters as well as a few scratches in the paint.
