POOR COMMUNICATION
I have used this service 4 times. Now, I understand what the problem is. When making a booking, I provided my Tunisian mobile number. MTS Global (the Tunisian service provider) called me at 0830 on the day of pickup (scheduled for 1610) to advise me that the pickup would be at 1610, and then promptly terminated the call before advising WHERE the pickup would be. I was expecting this, so we were at what we believed (after talking with other customers) to be the location a good 30 minutes early, at 1545. At 1630, we still were not picked up, so I called MTS Global, who told me that the driver WAS there, and waited from 1610 to 1615, but I was not there - so he left. Either the driver or MTS Global (I am still not sure) decided to call Cap Monastir Marina (where I am staying with my boat), and never bothered to call me on my Tunisian mobile!!! Why? I never gave anybody that number. I only gave my Tunisian mobile number. The whole problem was that they changed the location of pickup (by about 300m) and never bothered to tell me. Thankfully, the driver returned and picked me up at the new location. This was nearly the same situation the first time I used the service. I will continue to use this service, but MTS Global needs to get their act together. Also, I understood that I will be contacted 24 hours before being picked up. However, on my return from the UK, nobody called me. Nobody emailed me. I will guess that MTS Global would never call any number but a Tunisian number, no surprise, but why not email me? I just walked out of the airport, and thankfully, somebody was there to meet me. But, again, it was a challenge. Their agent was at the arrivals area wandering around but I had to ask them who they were waiting for. Why didn't they at least carry a sign with their company name MTS Global on it? This company creates stress for travellers.
